Deadlines
Seniors are faced with many deadlines between now and graduation. Students and parents are reminded that planning is essential to meeting these deadlines. Students are encouraged to complete applications at least one week prior to deadlines. Sufficient notice should be given to allow the counselor to complete recommendations and prepare official transcripts.
Important Senior Dates to Remember
SUNDAY, MAY 16 Richmond Catholic Community Baccalaureate Mass, 8:00 a.m., Holy Family
- 1. Attendance Mandatory
- 2. Cap & Gown Required
- 3. Reception Follows Mass
FRIDAY, MAY 21 Athletic Awards Banquet(Grades 9-12).
The schedule for finals for Seniors will be as follows: (TENTATIVE!)
- 1. FRIDAY, MAY 21 Seniors will take final exams during periods 4 & 5.
- 2. MONDAY, MAY 24 Last full day of school for Seniors
- 3. MONDAY, MAY 24 Senior finals during periods 1, 2, & 3.
- 4. TUESDAY, MAY 25 ALL students will start school day with periods 6, 7. Seniors will take final exams during periods 6 & 7, and then the Seniors will be released ahead of Senior Week activities.
TUESDAY, MAY 25 Practice for Honors & Awards Assembly (MANDATORY). Practice will be immediately after the Seniors complete their last final for the day.
WEDNESDAY, MAY 26
- 1. Practice for Baccalaureate Mass at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 10:00am (MANDATORY) Seniors are reminded to be prompt.
- 2. Practice for Graduation Ceremony, Chuck Mosey Memorial Gym, 1:00pm (MANDATORY). Seniors are reminded to be prompt. This practice will go as long as it takes to ensure a quality graduation.
THURSDAY, MAY 27 2nd Practice for Graduation Ceremony in Chuck Mosey Memorial Gym, 10:00 am (IF NECESSARY) NO OTHER DAY TIME ACTIVITIES SCHEDULED
THURSDAY, MAY 27 Baccalaureate Mass at 6:00 p.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church (MANDATORY)
- 1. Baccalaureate Mass is a mandatory DRESSUP day for Seniors. Caps and gowns are worn over dress attire.
- 2. Please note: If a Senior wants to participate in COMMENCEMENT, he/she MUST participate in Honors & Awards, and Baccalaureate.
- 3. Seniors will be required to be dressed at Fr. Hillman Hall by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 27, with their caps and gowns.
The Senior Banquet will be held immediately after Baccalaureate Mass in Fr. Hillman Hall. Seniors and their parent(s) are free, guests of the school
FRIDAY, MAY 28 Honors & Awards Assembly. This is MANDATORY for Seniors. Parents and families are welcome this day as the Class of 2010 receives many different recognitions. Honors & Awards Day is a mandatory DRESS-UP day for Seniors. Caps and gowns are also worn. Seniors will be required to be in Fr. Hillman Hall at 1:00 p.m. in dress attire and with their caps and gowns. The Awards Assembly will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Chuck Mosey Memorial Gym.
SUNDAY, MAY 30 Commencement Exercises for the Class of 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in Chuck Mosey Memorial Gym. This is a mandatory DRESS-UP day for Seniors. Seniors will be asked to be at Fr. Hillman Hall NO LATER THAN 1:00 p.m. with their caps and gowns.
APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR IS EXPECTED (AND WE ANTICIPATE NO PROBLEMS) DURING THE COURSE OF ALL OF THESE EVENTS, INCLUDING THE ENTIRE COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY. ANY PROBLEMS CAN RESULT IN THE LOSS OF A SENIORS PRIVILEGE TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY OR ALL OF THE EVENTS, INCLUDING BACCALAUREATE AND COMMENCEMENT.
